Intracavity Absorption Spectroscopy with Novel Mid-Infrared Solid-State Lasers Covering the 2–7 μm Range

Abstract

We report on our recent progress in advancing intracavity absorption spectroscopy into the mid-infrared spectral range by using novel Cr2+- and Fe2+-doped chalcogenide-crystal lasers. Broadband and highly sensitive measurements of various species will be presented.
