Ultrabright Laser-Compton Light Sources and Novel Applications

Abstract

The development, optimization and applications of compact, high-peak and high-average brilliance laser-Compton x-ray and gamma-ray sources is reviewed. Potential applications range from nuclear photonics to precision medical imaging and theranostics.
