Abstract

The effects of spectral aberrations on the phase control system (PCS) of coherent beam combining (CBC) of pulsed fiber lasers are analyzed in this paper. These effects include spectral phase shift, dispersion length difference, and the asymmetric of the spectrum. A typical system of CBC of two lasers is calculated in detail and design guidelines are given.
