Fabrication and Demonstration of Nanomechanical Optical Fibres

Open Access Open Access

Abstract

We have developed the nanomechanical optical fibre, which contains two cores that not only transmit light also can be continuously tuned by mechanical actuation. We will review the process of fabrication and options for actuation. Article not available.
