Design of tunable optical transmitter based on FPGA

Abstract

A tunable optical transmitter based on FPGA has been proposed and designed to enhance the flexibility of tunable transmitter. Experiments have been demonstrated that the transmitter can handle direct modulation signals at up to 2.5Gbit/s.
