Abstract

We demonstrate a QCW erbium-doped all-fiber laser emitting 16.1 W peak power piulses at 2942.2 nm at a 21.4% slope efficiency. Pump pulses of 8 ms yielded a maximum output pulse energy of 134 mJ.
