Efficient simulation of metasurfaces: From meta-atoms to millimeter-scale structures and beyond

Abstract

A complete workflow to design and optimize millimeter-scale metasurfaces is presented. We demonstrate an efficient scattering model for simulation of metalenses in optical systems, combining full-vectorial electromagnetic simulation and ray tracing techniques.
