Abstract

This paper presents an overview of the work performed in our laboratory and aimed at providing information concerning minor constituents of the earth atmosphere by means of Fourier transform spectroscopy in absorption. It involves the laboratory study of minor atmospheric constituents in the spectral region extending from the far infrared to the visible as well as the in situ measurement of the abundance of such species in the atmosphere through their visible/UV absorption.
