Abstract

L. Wallace of Kitt Peak National Observatory has been reducing the infrared and near infrared spectra of sunspots. These spectra were recorded with the Fourier transform spectrometer associated with the McMath-Pierce Solar Telescope of the National Solar Observatory in Tucson, AZ. The sunspot and the photospheric infrared spectra are available in the form of four atlases¹.
