Ultra high resolution FT spectroscopy of molecular crystals

Abstract

Rovibrational transitions of molecules embedded in solid parahydrogen were investigated by high-resolution FT infrared spectroscopy. The analysis of well-resolved spectra allows us to study eigenstates and dynamics of the molecules in great detail.
