Abstract

We present the design and implementation of a scalable 3D Optical Interconnect Distributed Crossbar Switching (3DOCS) architecture with small footprint (<70cm2) and high bandwidth (256Gbps). The motivation of 3DOCS, particularly for SMP systems, is discussed.
