Abstract
Spectral radiance validation of the Geosynchronous Imaging Fourier Transform Spectrometer (GIFTS) engineering design unit has been performed using zenith sky viewing comparisons with an Atmospheric Emitted Radiance Interferometer (AERI). Good agreement is demonstrated.
