An Imaging Heterodyne Spectrometer for Planetary Exploration

Abstract

We present a new design for an imaging heterodyne FT spectrometer and the first test results. The use of Spatial Heterodyne Spectroscopy combined with cylindrical optics records an interferogram for each point of the height of the slit.
