Abstract

A design overview of the Spatial Heterodyne Imager for Chemicals and Atmospheric Detection (SHIMCAD) brassboard instrument and its first long-wave infrared transmittance measurement are presented. SHIMCAD uses a field widened Spatial Heterodyne Spectroscopy (SHS) interferometer.
