Abstract

SITELLE is a wide-field imaging FTS to be deployed at the Canada-France-Hawaii telescope in late 2013. Its large size (few meters across) and high mass (half a ton) is a testimony of its uniquely large throughput for a visible range FTS. This paper presents preliminary characterization results of the instrument.
