Use of Partial Least Squares Regression Analysis to Predict Physiological Glucose Concentrations in vitro

Abstract

Partial least squares regression is used to predict glucose concentrations in vitro throughout the physiological range using mid-infrared transmission spectra of glucose in water or serum. Concentrations as low as 30 mg/dL are predicted to clinical accuracy.
