High Resolution Spectroscopy in Space: The Scisat ACE Mission

Abstract

On orbit since 2003 and well beyond its nominal two year mission life, the ACE mission has fulfilled its goals of elucidating the chemical and dynamic processes that control stratospheric and upper tropospheric ozone distribution. In addition it has measured many species over a large altitude range that has been useful for the study of many other atmospheric phenomena.
