Compact Neutron Generator with Inertial Electrostatic Confinement Fusion for Neutron Radiography

Abstract

A compact inertial electrostatic confinement (IEC) fusion neutron source was developed. Imaging tests using the novel IEC neutron source were conducted with the indirect method using dysprosium foil and an imaging plate.
