Using solar-viewing FTS observations to inform spectroscopic parameters

Abstract

Accurate information on molecular absorption line parameters is crucial to accurately interpret remotely sensed observations of atmospheric composition. We show how ground-based, solar-viewing FTS data can identify and address errors in laboratory-derived line parameters.
