Level-Spacing Distribution in Small Asymmetric Particles

Abstract

We present the analytical theory of the spacing between the neighboring energy levels in the spectrum of asymmetric micro-particles. We show the evidence of the level repulsion in the limit of small spacings, and explain this level repulsion by the phenomenon of Chaos Assisted Tunneling.
