Abstract

A novel way was discovered to enhanced the conductivity of Poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) films by five hundred times through a simple surface treatment with ethylene glycol. High performance polymer light-emitting diodes and photovoltaic cells were obtained using this high-conductivity PEDOT:PSS film as anode.
