New grating eigenmodes in a slab with a holographic grating with strong frequency detunings of the Bragg condition.

Abstract

A number of strong unusual resonances are predicted in the side-lobe structure of the frequency response of scattering in a slab with a slanted holographic grating. These resonances occur at strong detunings of the Bragg condition, and are explained by resonant generation of special new grating eigenmodes.
