Abstract
Ocular aberrations in chicks were measured regularly over three weeks from one week of age. Most aberrations decrease over this period during which emmetropization is occurring. There are also significant within-day changes in most aberrations and refractive errors, which tend to become more hyperopic from the afternoon into the evening.
