Abstract

Spectral, temporal and coherence properties of the supercontinuum generation development in the photonic crystal fiber have been investigated using a novel time-delayed spectral interferometry approach. It is shown that the coherence is high for the blue-shifted radiation and low for the soliton wavelength region. The multiple-frequency channels generation is experimentally demonstrated using two time-delayed pump pulses.
