Generation of elliptically polarized THz waves

We demonstrate generation of elliptically polarized multi-cycle THz waves via optical rectification in a periodically-poled lithium niobate. Ellipticity is controlled by the time delay between the two linearly and perpendicularly polarized optical pulses irradiating on the nonlinear crystal.
