Abstract

Stable photonic clusters, consisting of dielectric microspheres bound by multiply-scattered electromagnetic waves (distinct from optical gradient forces), are shown to exhibit a multiplicity of geometric configurations, including quasicrystal-like configurations, as well as exotic dynamics.
