On-Orbit Experience with the Spitzer Space Telescope Optical System

Abstract

The Spitzer Space Telescope operates at wavelengths between 3.6 and 160 microns. This paper describes the on-orbit performance of the beryllium optical system which was launched warm and radiatively cooled to cryogenic temperatures.
