Dynamic Optical Correlation Using Localized Holography

Abstract

A new technique for optical correlation using gated holographic recording is presented. The holograms are localized along the crystal. Distinctions of the proposed method compared to conventional correlators are extendable capacity and dynamic pattern modification.
