Watts-Level, All-Fiber Laser at 1.5μm Modelocked with a Saturable Semiconductor Absorber

Abstract

We report a high average power, all-fiber laser at 1.5μm, modelocked with a saturable semiconductor absorber mirror. The average output power reaches 2.2 W, and the peak power is 540 W at a repetition rate of 95 MHz.
