Spherical Aberration Correction in Deep Multi-Photon Imaging

Abstract

Spherical aberration degrades optical resolution during deep multiphoton imaging. Wavefront compensation within the objective or of the incident beam restores imaging quality. The use of a deformable lens for dynamic compensation is investigated.
