Parallel FDTD simulation of light scattering by three-dimensional B cells at different phases of cell cycle

Abstract

Light scattering from three-dimensional B cells with different proliferative statuses has been simulated using a parallel FDTD method with the three-dimensional cell structure constructed from a set of two-dimensional confocal microscopic images.
