Measurement of linear refractive index by low coherence interferometry and nonlinear refractive index change by Z-scan technique of dyes in solution

Abstract

To achieve a complete characterization of the refractive index of different dyes we use a low coherence interferometer to measure the linear refractive index and the Z-scan technique to determine the nonlinear refractive index change.
