Abstract
We present a single-shot, high-temporal-resolution terahertz diagnostic capable of measuring free-space electromagnetic fields in time and space. Using the chirped probe electrooptic sampling technique, combined with a novel retrieval algorithm, it provides transform-limited temporal resolution.
