Topological charge effects on azimuthal modulation instabilities for cylindrical polarization in nonlinear media

Abstract

Inhomogeneously polarized optical waves form a novel class of nonlinear vector wave propagation effects. In this talk we report the effects of topological charge on the azimuthal modulation instability.
