Abstract

Although modified auto-interferometric correlation (MOSAIC) offers a sensitive approach for chirp characterization, the chirp determination from this method is not necessarily unique. This ambiguity can be removed by an additional spectral measurement. We demonstrate complete and unambiguous (except for time reversal ambiguity) ultrashort pulse characterization using a new convergent algorithm.
