Impact of Structural Parameter Deviations in Hollow-Core Photonic Crystal Fibers

Abstract

We numerically study the sensitivity of fiber attenuation in hollow-core photonic crystal fibers to deviations in their structural parameters using a commercial finite-element mode solver. We find that the attenuation is most sensitive to wavelength and core wall thickness.
