Abstract
Group velocity of light is reduced to 0.091pm/s in a biological film. Exploiting flexible photo-dynamics for coherent photoisomerization oscillation, the velocity is all-optically controlled. Ultraslow light is observed at microwatt level, indicating high energy efficiency.
