SHG in lithium niobate based Bragg reflection waveguides

Abstract

A novel design for second harmonic generation using quasi phase-matching in Bragg reflection waveguides is proposed. The structure exhibits very large bandwidth for the second harmonic generation with high efficiency as compared to conventional waveguides.
