Nonlinear Photonic Quasicrystals for General χ(2) Processes

Abstract

A nonlinear photonic quasicrystal accommodating any set of arbitrary χ(2) processes can be designed using a known quasi-crystallographic algorithm. We demonstrate the design of multiple second harmonic generation and of cascaded polarization rotation.
