Stroking the Synapse: Insight into Ischemic Damage and Recovery from <i>in vivo</i> 2-Photon Imaging of Individual Synapses

Abstract

2-photon imaging of blood flow, brain structure, and function has been applied in transgenic mice <i>in vivo</i> to assess the events which occur during first few hrs after an interruption of blood supply termed stroke.
