Electroabsorption Modulator for analog fiber link applications

Abstract

Design and performance of electroabsorption waveguide modulators for high gain and low noise figure analog fiber links are presented. Peripheral coupled waveguide design has led to electroabsorption modulator with high linearity and optical saturation power.
