Abstract

Electron photodetachment of the tribromocuprate(I) anion CuBr32− in water is achieved by ultrafast pump-dispersed probe spectroscopy resulting in a transient absorption signal containing oscillatory features that correspond to the vibrational frequencies in the detached product.
