Abstract

Effect of 320-nm light on the solid monoliths of Au(III)-chitosan-silica aerogels (Au/NH2=1:5) has been investigated. A slight blue shift of about 7 nm is noticed in the plasmon resonance peak upon increasing the exposure duration.
