Light-Controlled Switching of Fluorescence from Mn-doped ZnSe Quantum Dots

Abstract

We report on the optical and fully-reversible control over fluorescence from Mn-doped ZnSe quantum nanocrystals. Such optical control over electronic transitions within these nanocrystals enables, for the first time, diffraction unlimited imaging using quantum dots.
