Enhanced Background Rejection in In-Phase Focal Modulation Microscopy

Abstract

We present the in-phase focal modulation microscopy (IPFMM). Compared with the conventional confocal microscopy, IPFMM can more effectively reject background signal, thus can achieve greater imaging penetration depth.
