Abstract
Diffractive and micro-optical components have evolved over the last decade to enable a plethora of new applications. In parallel to this evolution in components, there has been an increased need for optical elements that exhibit unique spectral, spatial, and polarization properties. The paper will highlight recent developments with practical examples for imaging and sensing.
