Compressive Fourier Transform Spectroscopy

Abstract

We describe a compressive-sensing approach for obtaining an N-point Fourier spectrum using much less than N time-domain measurements. We experimentally resolve sparse vibrational spectra using <30% of the Nyquist limit samples in single-pulse CARS experiments.
