Wavefront Correction through Suppression of Mirror-Based Aberration Modes

Abstract

A technique is presented for the measurement and correction of optical wavefronts in a multi-resolution approach through successive suppression of aberration modes that are defined by deformable mirrors of either segmented or continuous-surface types.
