Digital Compensation of Fiber Nonlinearities

Abstract

Recent progress in nonlinearity compensation using coherent detection and digital signal processing will be presented. Efficient algorithms toward real-time implementation and polarization effects for polarization-multiplexed WDM transmission will be emphasized in this presentation.
