Image Fidelity Improvements in Turbid Confocal Microscopy by Modal Imaging

Abstract

Experimental support of bi-modal field redistribution in the suppression of scattered background is presented; a 2.5X improvement in image fidelity is realized. This work points to a more useful point spread function for turbid imaging.
